Parents not receiving child support unite against deadbeat parents.

How long do you have to collect child support?

My stepson is 21 and his Biological dad never has paid a dime. Is it too late to try to go after him if he is even still alive?

I agree with Lisa. What could it hurt to try? It depends a lot on if there was an existing court order.
A very similar situation happened to my dad, but he didn't even know he had a son. When the kid was 20, my dad was ordered to pay $40,000 or go to jail. He paid.

That debt is there forever and can be collected as such. It would be worth a try to collect. Court ordered child support debts (no matter how old) can't even be included in a bankruptcy, they remain on the debtors credit report and could be deducted from the debtors wages or you could even sue (if he has assets.)
