Trying to focus on the positive...

I am trying to focus on things that are good in my life and not become consumed with the issue of non payment of cs. I am fortunate to have a husband now that takes care of my kids like they were his own. He pays his child support faithfully and drives 16 hours every other weekend to pick up his son for the weekend. My ex won't even drive up the hill to pick up his kids. It is hard not to be bitter.....but I am trying. Thanks everyone for listening. It really helps. Continue

Visitation Rights to parents who don't pay support...

He is equally affected by the lack of support from my ex husband: I also agree that when a person pays child support, they aren't "paying for the rights to see them". I am a daughter of a deadbeat dad. To tell a little about my story my parents got a divorce when I was 3 years old. We then moved, my dad stayed in contact for a few years off and on. 2 Deadbeats

Unfortunately, I have two deadbeat dads on my hands. My ex-husband (my son's father) has once again decided not to pay child support. He hasn't called or seen our son in over a year. Even worse than that, he only wants children in a "package deal" meaning that he intentionally impregnates the women he dates and when things go sour he bolts on the mother and his child.
