April, I ran across the Ask Now website, where you can ask a law librarian a question. The site is run by the State of California's library system. Maybe they can give you information on how to swear out an arrest warrant in California. Tammy

Contact the court where your child support was ordered. Ask them about swearing out a warrant for your ex's arrest. In the county I live you can do this.

Court date!

I called the court today and apparently my court date is September 8, 2009.
Now if we can just get him "served"!

This is unbelievable!!!!!

Here is fairness in the system for you. My ex is receiving financial assistance from the State now for himself, new girlfriend, and baby. I can't get ANY help and he owes me over $11,000!

Trying to focus on the positive...

I am trying to focus on things that are good in my life and not become consumed with the issue of non payment of cs.
I am fortunate to have a husband now that takes care of my kids like they were his own.
He pays his child support faithfully and drives 16 hours every other weekend to pick up his son for the weekend.
My ex won't even drive up the hill to pick up his kids.
It is hard not to be bitter.....but I am trying.
Thanks everyone for listening. It really helps.
