Curtis have you tried to petition the court just to modify the your spousal support and your child support since you are no longer working. I am assuming this was involuntary and you were laid off.
Have your wife go down to the county court house where the court order was issued and get a statement of exactly how much he owes. Here in Florida it only cost me 1 to get a print out. Have her show it to her ex and ask him nicely to start paying something. When that doesn't work. she needs to go down to CSE with his new address in hand and file the paperwork for him to have it taken out of his paycheck. I doubt he took the time to get the court order modified since he has new kids. I am not sure how her order reads.. I found out where my ex worked and served the income deduction notice myself.
It has been my experience that they will only put the deadbeat in jail after all other avenues are exausted and the other parent really pursues it.
Good Luck!
