Montgomery County Philadelphia is giving deadbeat parents AMNESTY.
Check out this article I came across. A county in Philadelphia is going to give deadbeat parents with an arrest warrant for non payment a 4 day period to turn themselves in and make payment arraignments without getting arrested. This could work for the parents that want to make payments, but calling it amnesty sends the message that their crime is not severe. I will follow up with the results of this amnesty program and post them. It should be interesting.

The results of the 4 day amnesty program are in. 36 people (10%) of the deadbeat parents with bench warrants turned themselves in. At least some of these parents will start making payments. Check out the article.

That is horrible, the custodial parent didn't have amnesty to pay bills!
