Down with Deadbeats

Parents not receiving child support unite against deadbeat parents.

Lisa

When Child Support Enforcement can't locate MIA parents.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to find a good address for a noncustodial parent to give to child support enforcement? In my case they find his employer 1-2 times a year, put in an income deduction (takes up to 8 weeks) then the 1st time his income is deducted he leaves the job. I get frustrated everytime that I call them and am told there are no new updates. I only know the area he is in I haven't talked to him for years.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would start by searching broward county's tax collectors website (you can find most county's by searching the county name+state+tax collector) and seeing if he has any property in his name, there would be a mailing address. Broward county's website address is:

http://bcegov.co.broward.fl.us/revenue/nameform.asp

Thanks,

Tammy

Tammy,
I found a property with him listed as an owner. Hopefully this address will help. I have called child support enforcement and given it to them. Thanks for the idea. I will let you know if it worked.

I don't know if that is the correct address yet. I just thought that I should ask if anyone has a good address for Richard Hylton that I can give to Child Support Enforcement.

Thanks

By searching the tax collector, wouldn't you be able to find out if he has any property (homes or land) in his name? Is there a way to have a lien put on his property for the amount he owes? That would lock him into paying when he sells the property and there would be no real way for him to avoid it.

I'd also search public records to see if he has a wife. Maybe she would like to know about his other children. That might move things right along... hehe.

hello lisa.... i paid a private det. 350. in n.j. to find the same information i did. there is a sociale network search called. snitch.name it searches all corners of the web. i like www.whitepages.com to find someone you have to look everywhere. go to mylife.com you have to join, although i have found the 18.00 was worth spending. my life makes profiles for people who have not joined. they compile information form the web too. information that the person hiding might not even know about. when you see this fake profile it makes you want to join to connect with them... its shady on their part, but serves a purpose for people like us. dont go paying for an online search.... you will pay 60.00 dollars or more, and find almost the same amount of information... save that for a last resort. i have sat and made lists for hours from one site, and then another, then you have to compare, and eliminate. look for family members, friends he has mentioned, etc. good luck to you. paige

Yeah try to find him or his girlfriend/spouse/sig other on a social networking site, and do a mylife search for them by name. This can turn up a current or near current address and possibly a phone number. You have the area he's located there are only so many of this a-hole's in that area. You have to sort of do a little private investigative digging but, if you get the address of where he may be, if support enforcement has him served, anyone can take the service and must turn him in if they are over age 18. I did this to my children's putative father. I had to wait and watch him embedd himself in a situation that he would not soon be able to leave and then I did my research. It saved me the time and money of having to hire a lawyer or private investigator.
Also, if you have ever heard of skip tracing/repo collections agents try consulting with one of those. I lucked out and happen to have one in my family. They searched every person that he may be associated with, and provided me with a current address.
